The President is taller than General Grant, and still growing. . .

This just in. . . the General Grant tree in Sequoia National Park, once considered the 2^nd largest tree in the world (after the nearby General Sherman tree), has been relegated to the 3^rd spot on the list. A still-growing youngster -- the 3,240-year-old giant sequoia known as The President – has moved up to the number 2 slot.
